A mysterious blue heritage style poster has emerged on both Shipley's window and Murder One a few doors up Charing Cross Road.. since being closed this year. there is a mention too in the time out blog ..none of us know who has done it.it reads: SHIPLEY BOOKS 1983-2008
A mecca for art lovers frequented by the likes of John Berger, Peter Blake, Annie Liebowitz and Susan Sontag. After 25 years of trading it closed it's doors at 70 Charing Cross Road on Christmas eve 2008.
